Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Intern to join our team at VA2PT. You will work with our DevOps engineers to help automate processes, manage cloud infrastructure (mainly AWS), and support our Jenkins/Bitbucket/GitLab-based deployment pipelines. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in DevOps tools and practices.
Responsibilities
Assist in setting up and maintaining deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitLab CI
Help with infrastructure automation (using tools like Terraform or Ansible)
Learn and work on cloud platforms (especially AWS)
Write basic scripts for automation
Support in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
Monitor systems using tools like Grafana or CloudWatch
Requirements
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix
Familiarity with Git and version control
Understanding of any programming/scripting language (like Python or Bash)
Eagerness to learn DevOps tools and cloud platforms
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Exposure to cloud services (AWS preferred)
Basic understanding of Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitLab CI
